Kiran

Summoner of Askr

Tactician and Summoner of the Order of Heroes. They are a Great Hero called from another world and the chosen wielder of the Breidablik; a legendary weapon that takes on a curious form.

Notes: This Kiran is a combination of what little there is to go off of in the actual game in terms of what their character is like, a little bit of the Everyday Life of Heroes manga, and my own interpretations.

Description: An ordinary person from a world not unlike the real world. How they came to be in Askr is hazy at best. They know that Anna used Breidablik to call them to Askr, and they know that they had stepped through the portal that had been opened, but what they were doing before got muddled in the transition. If asked, all they will say is that the most they can remember for certainty was that they were in misty void before finding the gateway.

Kiran is kind and somewhat fretful over the well being of others. The initial shock of being called away to participate in a war that they, in all honesty, had no stake in was a very big one. They do their best to ensure that their tactics are well thought out and will lead them to the victory they seek without massive loss of life. And while the Heroes they summon can be revived, knowing that they will still feel that pain is a big motivator for them not to slip up. And when they do slip up it stings rather badly. After all, revival powers or not, these are still people's lives that are in their hands.

They are more or less useless in a straight up fight and while they have attempted in learning how to use other weapons with the help of other Heroes it has been slow goings on that front. The only weapon they can use well is Breidablik and even then it's not an offensive weapon (In-game at least. Cutscene for Book 2 tells a bit of a different story...). Their dedication to pursuing more effective tactics building takes up most of their time to go along with the many tasks and chores they help do around the castle. They sometimes become so focused that they need to be reminded to take a rest.

Like all humans, they aren't perfect. They slip up, they feel like they're throwing darts at a dart board and hoping for the best most of the time, they get frustrated, and there are days when they wonder why, out of the 7 billion people in the world, it was them that was chosen to be the summoner. No matter which way they look at it their selection feels more of "Yeah, life can be surprising at times," rather than a storybook "Hey, guess what, you come from a lineage of special people. Have fun." The prophecy and legend of Breideblik aside, of course.
